This mission will involve hiring a Rapier as an escort and using it to help you defeat two Academy Corvettes in the Levo System. First, visit the Spaceport Bar and select "Hire An Escort." Hire a Rapier using the money the Academy has been giving you. Then, leave the planet and engage the Corvettes. You must destroy both ships. To command your escort, press "c" for it to join you in formation and "v" for it to hold position and stop attacking unless it is attacked (useful when you wish to board a ship, not destroy it). Escorts such as Rapiers and Lightnings will always attack any enemy in the system. Others, such as Clippers and Light Freighters will only attack when attacked themselves. When you have destroyed the ships, select the escort by pressing "alt-tab" until selected. Then press " y" to communicate, and select "Release from Servitude." Return to Levo when you are done.
